Wegen seiner Robustheit, er überlebt sogar Raketen ohne Probleme, wirkt er wie ein Unsterblicher, daher hat er auch seinen Namen, »Gray the Nine Lives«. Er ist einer der Gung-Ho Guns und lebt daher nur, um Vash umzubringen. Neben seiner Robustheit besitzt er auch noch einige in seinen Körper integrierte Waffen. Aus seiner Brust kann er Raketen schießen, seine Fingerspitzen sind Maschinenpistolen und selbst in seinem Bein sind Raketen versteckt. Solche Waffen könnte er natürlich nicht im Körper haben, wenn er ein Mensch wäre, er ist ein Cyborg und ist daher auch so robust. Selbst wenn man ihm Körperteile abschießt, er kann sich immer noch problemlos bewegen und kämpfen.
