Asahina ist der Sekretär von Isaka. In dieser Funktion ist er für Isaka eine sehr verlässliche und loyale Hilfe, da Asahina sehr gut organisieren kann. Seine Aufgabe ist allerdings aufgrund des Charakters von seinem Vorgesetzten aber auch nicht immer leicht, weil Isaka mit seiner Schamlosigkeit des öfteren bei anderen aneckt. Asahina gehört jedoch nicht zu der Sorte von Untergebenen, die alle Eskapaden des Chefs aktiv mittragen oder einfach wegsehen. Vielmehr schreitet er wegen seines starken Sinns für Höflichkeit und Anstand ein, wenn er den Eindruck hat, dass Isaka zu weit geht.
