Mew ist ein Mitglied des »Light Tribe« (Lichtstammes), Tochter von Maria, Enkelin von König Fabris und wie ihre Mutter eine mächtige Magierin.
Als Astral durch die Zeit geschickt wird und dabei all seine Erinnerung verliert, beobachtet er Mew beim Baden in einem See. Sie wird daraufhin von einem riesigen Bären angegriffen und durch Astral vorm sicheren Tod gerettet. Sie revanchiert sich später dafür mit einer Liebesnacht.

Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass Mew Astrals Tochter ist, da Astral Jahre zuvor Maria, Mews Mutter, vergewaltigt hat, jedoch spricht dagegen, dass sie die Fähigkeit besitzt die Bruchstücke des »Words Worth« (eine Tafel Gottes auf der die Geheimnisse zum ewigen Glück stehen) zu verschmelzen, was ausschließlich Wesen, die »Shadow und Light Tribe«-Mischblut haben, können. Da aber, wie sich später herausstellt, sowohl Astral wie auch Maria Mitglieder des »Light Tribe« sind, dürfte Mew als Kind der beiden kein Mischblutkind sein, womit sie also wahrscheinlich doch nicht Astrals Tochter ist.
