Meg Brooke ist die älteste der 4 March-Schwestern, also auch die ältere Schwester von Missis Jo. Sie ist mit John Brooke verheiratet und ihren 3 Kindern, den Zwillingen Demi und Daisy und Baby Josie, eine liebevolle Mutter.
Zusammen mit ihrem Mann lädt sie jedes Jahr am Geburtstag der Zwillinge alle Plum Field-Kinder für eine große Feier zu sich nach Hause ein.

Sie leidet sehr unter der Krankheit ihres Mannes und ist dem Verzweifeln nahe und auch der Ansicht, dass es besser für alle wäre, wenn Demi und Daisy zurück nach Hause kämen.
