Konpeis Vater arbeitet als Fotograf und ist meistens zusammen mit seiner Ehefrau unterwegs, sodass Konpei meist allein in dem Haus verbleibt. Im Gegensatz zu seiner Ehefrau ist Konpeis Vater ein überaus abergläubischer Mensch. Geister, Dämonen und Gespenstergeschichten ängstigen ihn zu Tode und sein Glaube an solch okkulte Dinge ermöglicht es ihm auch die 24-jährige halbnackte Kirara in seinem Haus herumspuken zu sehen. Selbstverständlich endet das immer in einem Schock für den labilen Vater, der von seiner Ehefrau deswegen allerhöchstens nett belächelt wird.
