Zusammen mit Balalaika diente er früher mal der russischen Armee, doch nachdem der Krieg vorüber war und er als Soldat damit auch ausgedient hatte, schloss er sich Balalaika an. Sie war in der Armee sein Hauptmann, daher ist er ihr gegenüber sehr loyal, keiner ihrer Befehle würde er jemals missachten. Man könnte ihn auch gut als ihre rechte Hand bezeichnen, nicht nur dass er ihr nie von der Seite weicht, auch ist er derjenige, über den eigentlich alle Missionen durchgeführt wird.
