Er gibt die neue Ikazauchi zum Start frei und schwört die Besatzung auf einen glorreichen Sieg über die Frauen. Als die weiblichen Piraten die Ikazauchi übernehmen, trennt er die neue Sektion von der alten und will daraufhin die alte Sektion mit Hilfe von Muramasa, einer Art Torpedo, vernichten, damit es nicht in die Hände der Feinde fällt. Er hat mit seinem strengen Bart und seiner Uniform eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit zu deutschen Offizieren im ersten Weltkrieg.
