Anfangs unterschätzt er die Fähigkeiten von Goro und Toshiya, da diese für keine bekannte Mannschaft gespielt haben. Als er aber sieht, über was für Fähigkeiten die beiden verfügen, weiß er, auf welcher Position er zu spielen hat, damit er den beiden nicht im Weg steht. Zwar mag er nicht so talentiert sein wie die beiden, schlecht ist er aber bestimmt nicht, ansonsten hätte er gar nicht für eine Senior League Mannschaft spielen dürfen.
