An der Universität, wo sie zusammen mit ihrer besten Freundin Ai studiert, mischt sich Miwako unauffällig unter die Studenten und möchte nicht an die große Glocke hängen, dass sie eigentlich einer äußerst wohlhabenden Familie entstammt und in einem großen Anwesen mit zahlreichen Bediensteten wohnt. So aber genießt die junge Frau die Normalität des Studentinnen-Lebens, obwohl sie sich insgeheim ein wenig Aufregung wünscht, während sie nach außen mehr die Zurückhaltende, Bescheidene zu sein scheint.

Als sie sich von ihrer Freundin überreden lässt, eine Kollegin von ihr in einem Maid Café zu vertreten, stellt sie sich zunächst zwar noch etwas ungeschickt an, da sie noch nie wirklich gearbeitet hat, findet aber schnell gefallen an dieser Tätigkeit. Der Chef des Etablissements lässt sie dort unter dem Namen Yuzuki arbeiten, weil dieser perfekt zu ihrer eleganten Upper Class-Erscheinung passen würde, womit er ja intuitiv ziemlich richtig gelegen hat.
