Da Jamis Merin zufälligerweise einer der geladenen Gäste des Jungfernfluges der Macross ist, wird sie glatt mitgerissen als es mittels einer Art Teleportation Lichtjahre von der Erde entfernt entschwindet. Die berühmte wunderschöne Schauspielerin aus Hollywood und Modell geht aber alles andere als in völliger Depression unter und nutzt stattdessen den »Miss Macross«-Wettbewerb um sich weiter zu profilieren und eine Bestätigung ihrer Klasse abzuholen. Absolut von sich selbst eingenommen und hochnäsig bis zum Kopf, steht es für sie demzufolge außer Frage, dass jemand sie in diesem Wettbewerb schlagen könnte.
