Der Papagei im Haushalt von Ryuuji und Yasuko Takasu ist ein völlig neurotisches Tier. Inko ist zwar in der Lage zu sprechen und kann auch erstaunlich gut begreifen, was andere sagen; allerdings stottert sie fürchterlich und ist ein komplettes Nervenbündel, das ständig kurz vor dem Kollaps zu stehen scheint. Wegen seinem empfindlichen Haustiers kann Ryuuji kein Geflügel zubereiten, da der Vogel das als Bedrohung seines Lebens interpretiert.
