Im Spiel gegen Shohoku spielt er gegen Miyagi und hat wegen des Größenunterschiedes einen großen Vorteil. Da Miyagi nicht an seine Bälle herankommt, schafft er es nicht die Würfe Itous richtig zu blocken. Aber auch wenn er in diesem Spiel aufgrund seiner Größe im Vorteil ist und daher so stark wirkt, sollte man ihn keinesfalls bei einem ausgeglichenen Größenverhältnis auf die leichte Schulter nehmen, denn wenn man ihn gewähren lässt, erzielt er eigentlich immer seine Punkte.
