Vor zehn Jahren verschwanden die Walküren Siegrune und Grimgerde beim Kampf zwischen Asgard und Helheim in einer gleißenden Lichtkugel. Siegrune taucht nun wieder auf und behauptet, von den Oberen gesandt zu sein, weil diese vermuten, dass sich Grimgerde mit ihrem alten Feind Helheim eingelassen hat und somit zur Verräterin wurde, die Siegrune nun fangen und zurück bringen soll. Sie glaubt allerdings nicht daran, dass Grimgerde so etwas tun würde. Obwohl sie die Jüngere der beiden ist, verhält sie sich recht mütterlich, was jedoch auch mit ihrem wahren Hintergrund zusammenhängt. In ihr wurde nämlich niemand Geringeres als die Seele von Hel selbst wiedergeboren, und daher weiß sie, wer sich in Wirklichkeit hinter Grimgerde verbirgt.
