Bananas ist ein kleiner Affe, der zusammen mit Meister Kaio auf dessen kleinem Planeten am Ende des Schlangenpfads wohnt. Das Äffchen muss ziemlich stark sein, da ihm die 10-fach erhöhte Schwerkraft auf Meister Kaios Planeten nichts auszumachen scheint und er trotzdem fidel seinen Unfug anstellen kann. Meist nervt er seinen Herren Kaio so sehr, dass sich Bananas oftmals dafür einen Klapps mit dem Hammer einfängt. Letztlich stellt Bananas die erste Hürde für Son Goku bei dessen Training unter Meister Kaios Leitung dar, da Goku ihn zur Eingewöhnung an das erhöhte Gewicht erst einmal fangen muss.
