Kouji arbeitet als Koch im Restaurant von Mie, außerdem ist er mit ihrer Tochter Arisa zusammen. Es wäre gelogen, zu behaupten, er fände Mie nicht auch attraktiv, zwischen ihnen stehen aber gewisse Berührungsängste, weil sie vor knapp einem Jahr ihren Mann verloren hat, also Witwe ist. Auf Initiative der Tochter kommen sich die beiden dann doch näher und auch wenn ihn diese Verkuppelungsaktion anfangs überrumpelt, ist er alles andere als abgeneigt.
