Die Mutter von Kazuki Makabe liebte ihn sehr. Sie lebten ein glückliches Familienleben und beruflich lief es bei ihr auch bestens. Doch eines Tages geschah es, dass sie von einem Festum infiziert und ebenfalls zu einem wurde. Doch im Gegensatz zu den anderen Festums versucht Myorunia, wie sie damit nun hieß, die Gefühle der Menschen zu verstehen und so eine Brücke zwischen den beiden Spezies zu bauen. Das war auch schon in ihrem Leben als Forscherin und Akane Makabe ihr Ziel.
