Die recht schüchterne Mangaka Setsuna Mutou, oder auch einfach Mutou-sensei, wird von Ritsu betreut und zeichnet beliebte Shoujo-Mangas. Sie gehört im Marukawa-Verlag zu den drei besten weiblichen Mangaka derzeit. Sie arbeitet hart und geht sogar so weit, dass sie mit hohem Fieber und Schlafmangel ihre Arbeit beenden möchte. Als Ritsu ihr als Editor zugeteilt wird, ist sie anfangs etwas skeptisch, bleibt dennoch immer freundlich und höflich zu ihm und merkt später wie sehr er sich anstrengt ihren Manga berühmt zu machen. Nach einiger Zeit freut sie sich, dass Ritsu ihr Editor geworden ist und die beiden arbeiten gut zusammen.
