Ayanes Debüt-Match als Kickboxerin wurde genau vor Sakurakos Kampf angesetzt und da Ayane durch einen spektakulären Kick gewinnt, fühlt sich Sakurako zutiefst gekränkt, dass sie es wagt, so herauszustechen. Für diese Unverschämtheit will sie ihr ordentlich Respekt beibringen und dafür bestrafen, ihr das Rampenlicht gestohlen zu haben, das eigentlich ihrem fünften K.O.-Sieg in Folge gebührt hätte.

Als Tochter des Präsidenten von Miyagawa Trading, einem der Sponsoren der Kickbox-Liga, fällt es ihr nicht schwer, ein Match gegen Ayane zu arrangieren. Für sie stellt es das Allerwichtigste dar, dass sie im Mittelpunkt steht. Deswegen überlässt sie nichts dem Zufall, inszeniert ihre Auftritte wie eine große Show und greift für ihr Training auf Hightech zurück. Für die Kampftaktik setzt sie auf Zermürbung: Indem sie ihrer Gegnerin zuerst mit Front Kicks die Ausdauer raubt und deren schwächer werdende Deckung dann für ihre harten Punches nutzt.
