Gola Mosca ist ein Mitglied der Varia und das einzige nicht menschliche Mitglied, das Wächter eines Vongola Ringes sein darf. Einzig auf die Worte seines Bosses, Xanxus, hört er; selbst wenn er den Befehl gibt, einen der eigenen Männer zu attackieren, gehorcht Gola Mosca. Wenn er erst einmal den Befehl zum Kämpfen erteilt bekommt, ist er nicht mehr zu stoppen. Das Arsenal, mit dem er ausgerüstet ist, kann ganze Gebäude zerstören, Menschen sind daher kein großes Hindernis für ihn.

Gola Mosca stellt wie auch die anderen Mitglieder der Varia eine Todsünde dar; er repräsentiert die Völlerei.
