Der Vater von Kaoru ist sehr streng und kann auch mal recht wütend werden. Er ist der Meinung, dass man, wenn man etwas nicht mehr tun sollte, es entweder abbricht oder eben weiter führt. So auch bei Kaorus Judokurs, der alles andere als blumig läuft. Entsprechend wütend ist er dann über das herum dümpeln, dass sie dort betreibt und schimpft sie dafür auch aus. Die Entscheidung liegt letztendlich bei ihr, aber ihr Vater besteht darauf, dass die Entscheidung gefällt wird.
