Yukari ist ein Senpai von Akitoshi Okajima und die Leiterin des »Urban Legend Research Club« der Ebawa-Universität, in den sie Akitoshi gegen seinen Willen regelrecht schanghait hat. Da das Treffen sämtlicher ULR-Clubs der Kantou-Region in Kürze bevorsteht, ist Yukari schwer mit Vorbereitungen beschäftigt. Dabei zeigt sich, wie gerne sie Leute herumkommandiert, denn die Clubmitglieder haben unter ihrer Führung wahrlich wenig zu lachen.

Akitoshi gegenüber verhält sie sich geradezu mütterlich protektiv, man könnte aber auch genauso gut von plumper Eifersucht sprechen. Yukari kann es prinzipiell nicht tolerieren, dass ihr Kouhai sich alleine mit einer anderen Frau im Raum befindet, geschweige denn mit zweien. Außerdem liebt sie es ganz besonders, ihm lästige und anstrengende Aufgaben aufzutragen, da sie ihn mit ihrem wohlhabendem Onkel, dem Sponsor des ULR-Club-Treffens und Akitoshis Arbeitsgeber, unter Druck setzen kann.
