Nachdem ein Mensch stirbt, darf er sich normalerweise selbst aussuchen, als was er wieder geboren wird. Der Grund, warum Mikage die Form dieses jungen Drachen wählte ist einfach zu erklären: Er wollte auch in seinem nächsten Leben an Teitos Seite sein. Und dieser Wunsch wurde ihm gewährt, sodass er nun als kleines, rosafarbenes Wesen seine Zeit auf der Schulter Teitos verbringt. In dieser Form werden noch mehr Gefühle von Mikage offensichtlich betont. Im Gegensatz zu seiner Zeit als Mensch ist er hier noch viel anhänglicher und zeigt seinen Drang nach Zuneigung direkt. Wenn Teito mal für eine Weile fort ist, ist Burupya total am Ende, traurig und lässt sich nicht einmal von anderen Freunden trösten.
