Für die Trennung von ihrem Mann gab sie aus fadenscheinigen, undurchsichtigen Gründen ihrer Tochter Miu die Schuld, die infolge oftmals als Ventil für ihren Frust erhalten musste. Als ihre Tochter einige Jahre später versucht Selbstmord zu begehen, macht ihre Familie sie dafür verantwortlich, während sie selber jedoch dafür vielmehr Konoha Inoue die Schuld gibt. Zumindest behauptet ihre Tochter Konoha hätte sie dazu getrieben, so sieht sie es gar nicht gerne als sie ihm plötzlich im Krankenzimmer ihrer Tochter begegnen muss und wird dementsprechend ausfallend ihm gegenüber.
