Das alte Mütterchen begleitete seinerzeit Chikumi Munamori, Chifusas Mutter, in den Manyuu-Clan, nachdem ihre Familie gegen das Tokugawa-Shogunat unterlegen war. Sie kümmerte sich während dieser Zeit auch liebevoll um Chifusa, ging jedoch nach Chikumis Tod zurück zu ihrem alten Dorf, auch wenn dieses mittlerweile zerstört war. Etwas abseits davon leben sie und Tsuyuha als letzte Überbleibsel des Munamori-Clans. Chifusa hat sie in all den Jahren niemals vergessen und ist daher überglücklich, als diese zu ihnen zurückfindet.
