In ganz Taiwan war Pai Lis Vater einer der besten Tierpfleger und so hatte auch sie selbst ständig mit Tieren zu tun. Ihr Leben sollte sich verändern, nachdem ihr Vater, um seine Schulden loszuwerden, Geld von Gangstern annahm. Diese Gangster nahmen dieser Familie den Laden und auch die Tiere weg. Nachdem ihr Vater vor einem Jahr verstarb, blieb ihr nur noch ein Malaysia-Tiger, den sie um jeden Preis beschützen will, da dieser Tiger für sie wie ein Familienmitglied ist.
