Wie ihr Ehemann ist auch Kates Mutter oftmals auf Geschäftsreise, sodass die beiden Töchter den Haushalt alleine schmeißen. Wenn alle mal wieder daheim sind, gehen sie deshalb meistens ganz schick Essen, was sie sich aufgrund ihrer Arbeit aber problemlos leisten können, da sie zur Oberschicht zu zählen sind.
