Karl ist der stellvertretende Befehlshaber des Militärs von Genes und somit Adjutant von Klone Genes. Er nimmt unter ihr mehr oder weniger eine beratende Funktion ein, bildet zusammen mit Makoto, Onyx sowie Toto gleichzeitig aber auch die Eliteeinheit Genes, die Klone Rose Knight Brigade. Strotzen sie nur so vor Tatendrang und Heldenmut, haben sie das unwahrscheinliche Glück irgendwie nie zum Zuge zu kommen: Sei es weil sie komplett ignoriert werden, die Gefahr verpufft oder eine Tür klemmt. Irgendetwas ist ihnen immer im Weg und so ist auch ihr demonstrativer Auftritt komplett für die Katz.
