Kyouko ist die eiserne Mutter von Megumi und Ehefrau von Reiji. Sie interessiert sich recht wenig für ihren Ehemann und spricht ständig davon, ihn eines Tages umzubringen. Ihre Tochter hat sie von ganzem Herzen lieb, doch nutzt sie diese ab und an gerne auch einmal aus, um Reijis kleinen Flirtereien zu entkommen. Ein gutes Beispiel wäre z.B., dass sie Megumi Geld gibt, damit diese Reiji einen kurzen Kuss gibt und er denkt, es käme von Kyouko. Warum genau sie ihren Ehemann so verachtet ist ungewiss. Da die Dame nicht sehr viel spricht, und wenn dann nur Schlechtes, hat sie dies wohl als eine besondere Art der Zuneigung entdeckt.
