Jun Tao ist die ältere Schwester von Ren Tao. Sie ist eine Dàoshì (chinesische Priesterin) und nutzt eine bestimmte Art Siegel um tote Körper (Jiang Shi) nach ihrem Willen zu kontrollieren. Sie ist eine sehr fürsorgliche Schwester, kümmert sich liebevoll um ihren Bruder Ren und glaubt fest an seine Schamanenfähigkeiten und sein Können.
Anfangs betrachtet auch sie ihre Jiang Shis ähnlich wie ihr Bruder Ren nur als Werkzeuge, die ihrem Willen unterliegen, jedoch wird sie von Yoh Asakura darüber aufgeklärt, wie schön eine wahre Freundschaft zu seinem Schutzgeist sein kann. Ihren stärksten Jiang Shi Lee Pailong bekam sie von ihrem Vater zum Geburtstag geschenkt.
