Trotz der mahnenden Worte zögerte vor vielen Jahren Solo nicht einen Augenblick den Monster King zu töten. Dadurch löste er aber nur viel mehr Unheil aus, denn seine Tat erzürnte die übrigen Monster so sehr, dass sie anfingen selber tätig zu werden, wo sie zuvor noch inaktiv blieben. Und nicht nur das, durch seinen Mord an dem Monster King wurde er nun dazu auserkoren dessen Platz einzunehmen.
