Der Vize-Bürgermeister ist in Bezug auf Monster in allem im Bilde und unterrichtet seinen Vorgesetzten über die Ankunft Horus. Mal wieder ist es soweit und ein Opfer muss ihm überreicht werden. Wie immer handelt es sich dabei um ein Kind und diesem Fall um den Jungen Kei, einst ein Freund Boccas, der aber vor ungefähr fünf Jahren spurlos verschwand. Er begegnet dem Monster mit gehöriger Ehrfurcht, weshalb er sich gleich über das absondere Verhalten der Sekretärin echauffiert. Als Horus im Begriff ist sein Opfer zu verspeisen, packt ihn jedoch die Neugier und kann seine Augen einfach nicht abwenden. Ein großer Fehler, wie sich kurz darauf herausstellt.
