Der große Traum, die Gelts, ein Volk Marokkos, wieder aufleben zu lassen, ist für sie der Motivator, um gegen das momentane Regime anzukämpfen. Sie strahlt förmlich, wenn es um ihr eigenes Volk geht und ist stolz darauf, ein Gelt zu sein, was gut an ihrer Freude zu erkennen ist, wenn sie sich unter Gleichgesinnten befindet.

Bei ihr handelt es sich um die Enkelin von Lorre, welche die letzte Herrscherin der Gelts war. Lara ist somit ein Mitglied der königlichen Familie, auch wenn ihr dies zunächst nicht bewusst ist.
