Seit Generationen schon steht seine Familie im Dienste des Königshauses, weswegen auch Keith dieser Familie die Treue hält. Diese macht es ihm oftmals gar nicht leicht, da sie die Position ihrer Mutter nicht einnehmen möchte, weswegen er des Öfteren für sie einspringen muss und ihre Aufgaben übernimmt. Nach außen hin wirkt das ganze so, als ob er sie gewisserweise im Griff hat, was aber nicht der Wahrheit entspricht. Stets hat er ihr Bestes im Sinne und käme nie auf die Idee, ihr zu schaden.
