Chihiro ist Schülerin in Klasse 3 von Yukari Tanizaki. Sie ist eine gute Freundin von Kaori und die beiden werden häufig zusammen gesehen. Kurz nach der Einschulung hat sie sich schon mit Chiyo angefreundet und lässt sich von ihr auch in der Schule helfen. Chihiro ist künstlerisch begabt. So schneidet sie zusammen mit Kaori den menschengroßen Tieranzug für Chiyo. Außerdem hat sie panische Angst vor Schaben.
