Kaho Fujitani ist eine Schülerin an der High School, auf die auch Makoto Konno geht und ist eine Klasse unter ihr. Sie engagiert sich in einer Freiwilligen-Gruppe, die sich u.a. um alte und kranke Menschen kümmert.
Zu den Juniorinnen dieser Gruppe zählen ebenfalls ihre beiden besten Freundinnen Moriko und Sekimi. Während Kaho enorm schüchtern und zurückhaltend ist, sind ihre Freundinnen das genaue Gegenteil. So wundert es nicht, dass die beiden versuchen, Kaho unter die Arme zu greifen, die unglücklich in Kousuke Tsuda verliebt ist, sich aber nicht traut, ihn anzusprechen. Die reichlich undiplomatische Art der beiden ist Kaho allerdings sichtlich peinlich und nicht gerade förderlich für ihr Selbstbewusstsein.
