Fast schon als Ironie des Schicksals lässt sich Freddys momentaner Zustand bezeichnen, denn zusammen mit seiner Schwester kämpfte er immer gegen die Krankheit Kimaira, nur um dieser Krankheit nun zu unterliegen. Im Grunde genommen wollte er nur den anderen Menschen helfen, die unter dieser Krankheit zu leiden haben, muss sich nun aber selbst mit den Auswirkungen von Kimaira »anfreunden«, was ihm natürlich nicht zwingend Lebensmut schenkt.
