Kojirou Iwao ist der Manager der Videothek, in der Ippei arbeitet, und somit dessen Chef, weshalb Ippei alles dafür tut, um bei ihm keinen schlechten Eindruck zu machen. Wirklich viel Mühe muss er sich dabei aber nicht geben, weil Kojirou von Grund auf freundlich ist und sich gut mit ihm versteht. Beinahe schien sein Ruf in Gefahr zu sein, als Sally plötzlich im Laden auftauchte, um nach ihn zu suchen, allerdings mit seinem Chef fast einen Streit anfing, weil dieser sie für ein kleines Kind hielt. Zu seinem Glück Ippei erscheint rechtzeitig und kann das Schlimmste verhindern, aber sein Chef scheint sowieso ihren Ausraster ausgeblendet zu haben und ist neugierig auf sie. Kojirou ist kurzerhand von Sally angetan, besonders nachdem sie ihn für seine Video-Sammlungen lobt.
