Mit ihren beiden Freundinnen sucht das verängstigte Mädchen Yuuko Kirishima auf und bittet sie darum, sie vor dem Akahito, einem Wesen, dass laut Gerüchten wahllos Schüler nach Unterrichtsschluss angreift und tötet, zu beschützen. Yuuko versichert ihnen, dass ihnen nichts passiert, weshalb sie zunächst etwas beruhigt sind, aber sofort wieder in Panik verfallen können wenn auch nur der Name des mysteriösen Wesens fällt, da sie, wie viele ihrer Mitschüler auch, fest an die Existenz des Akahito glauben.
