Mit Schätzen und Geld kann man Carlos ködern; er ist zwar sicherlich eine dubiose Person, aber vor allem für Fujita eine wichtige Anlaufstelle, der auch gerne kooperiert, wenn man ihm ein entsprechendes Entgelt bietet. Carlos ist nämlich ein sehr einflussreicher Mann, dessen Wort auch gewichtet wird. Aufgrund seines höheren Postens ist er selbst nicht mehr dazu verpflichtet, auf Schatzsuche zu gehen, um wertvolle Gegenstände in die Finger zu bekommen. Doch nach wie ist der Drang bei ihm groß, an wertvolle Schätze zu gelangen und wenn es die Gegebenheiten erfordern, mischt er auch selbst einmal mit.
