Mitamura ist eine sehr junge und erfolgreiche Frau, auf deren Schultern sehr viel Verantwortung lastet, da sie als Direktorin des Takada Kunstmuseums eine sehr wichtige Position bekleidet. Funakoshi ist ihr Assistent, der stets bemüht ist, ihr unter die Arme zu greifen und so den Druck ein wenig von ihren Schultern zu nehmen. Er ist ein unglaublich eifriger Kerl und immer darauf bedacht, sein Bestes zu geben; bei ihm besteht nur das Problem, dass er sich schnell mit einer Situation überfordert sieht, weswegen er lieber die Hilfe von jemand anderem erfragt.
