Grundschülerin Chitose Sakuraba lässt nichts anbrennen und hat sich bereits einen Heiratskandidaten ausgeguckt: Der Beamte Hiroshi, der in der Stadthalle gleich neben ihrer Schule arbeitet – ein junger Mann zwar, aber natürlich etliche Jahre älter als sie. Chitose rückt ihm dermaßen penetrant auf den Pelz, dass er von ihrer überdrehten Art praktisch überrumpelt wird und seine einzige Waffe, die Erwachsenenlogik, dagegen völlig machtlos ist. Die Kleine ist nämlich nicht nur ein wahres Energiebündel sondern auch hartnäckig. Das muss auch ihre Lehrerin feststellen, der Chitose gerne auf der Nase herumtanzt, erst recht, seit klar ist, dass diese selbst an „ihrem“ Hiroshi Gefallen gefunden hat.
