Sayuri, Tochter einer reichen Familie, ist wie Mai eine Schülerin aus dem dritten Jahrgang. Da die beiden eine enge Freundschaft verbindet, sieht man sie in der Schule meistens zusammen. Ihr Lieblingsplatz ist das Dach der Schule, wo sie immer Mittagspause machen. Nachdem Sayuri Yuuichi einlädt mit ihnen zu essen, schließt auch er sich dieser seltsamen »Essgesellschaft« an. Sayuri ist eine der wenigen, die Mai versteht und sie nicht für eine Delinquentin hält.
