Nachdem Abel seinen eigenen Wahnsinn absorbiert hat und zu einer Bedrohung geworden ist, holt Gott den ersten Menschen, Adam, oder Who, wie er jetzt genannt wird, zurück, um den Kämpfern um Rinne beizustehen. Da Rinne die Reinkarnation seiner Frau Eva darstellt, spricht Who sie ständig mit „Schatz“ an und bringt sie auch sonst durch seine vertrauliche Behandlung in leichte Verlegenheit. Er kennt Rinnes besondere Stärke, die in ihrem unerschütterlichen Willen liegt und so schöpft er umso mehr Kraft, je fester Rinne an ihn glaubt.
