Ilias Bruder verdient sein täglich Brot normalerweise als Fischer, doch vor kurzem verschwanden die Fische aus den Küstengewässern. Es heißt, ein großes Seemonster sei aufgetaucht. Um trotzdem Geld zu verdienen, machte er sich zu einer nahe gelegenen Ruine auf, um dort auf Schatzsuche zu gehen, obwohl er keinerlei Erfahrung als Hunter hat. Er besitzt noch nicht einmal eine Waffe, verwendet aber seine Angelrute im Kampf, deren Haken er auch auf große Entfernung punktgenau ins Ziel bringt.
