Ugoro Kanzaki wurde nach der Kündigung von Herrn Tessai zum neuen Japanischlehrer der achten Klasse. Er ist der Bruder von Sanoyo und unterrichtet Japanisch in der gleichen Stunde, in welcher Sanoyo den Schülern Englisch beibringt. Die beiden Brüder sind Krieger der Ryujoji-Shinkage Schule und fordern Yagyu Jubei zum Kampf heraus. Da sie alles zusammen machen, verlieren sie auch zusammen und planen den Aufbau einer Apotheke in Naniwa, da sie des Kämpfens Müde sind.
