Als Haruko und Takeru noch jünger waren, trainierten beide gemeinsam in einem Dojo. Im Gegensatz zu heute hatte damals Haruko noch nicht die enormen Kräfte, die sie nun vorzuweisen hat, ganz im Gegenteil sogar. Denn Takeru war sogar der Stärkere von beiden, vor allem von seinem Mut und seinem Charakter her, sodass sie sich Takeru letztlich zum Vorbild nahm, wodurch sie erst zu dem Menschen werden konnte, der sie heute ist.
