Als junger Teenager hatte Totsuka nur einen Traum: Ein Teil der Homura zu sein. In erster Linie basiert dieser Traum auf seiner tiefen Bewunderung für den König dieses Clans, Mikoto Suou, von dessen Seite er kaum mehr weicht, auch wenn er diesem damit nervt. Um sein Vorhaben in die Realität umzusetzen, geht Totsuka sogar so weit, dass er durch Schlägereien mit Gegnern des Clans seine eigene Gesundheit gefährdet und auch mal im Krankenhaus landet. Das betrachtet er aber als nicht so schlimm, so wie er im Prinzip alles positiv und leichtherzig sieht. In seinem Vorbild sieht er nicht nur eine starke Persönlichkeit mit viel Macht; für Totsuka wird Mikoto in Zukunft jemand von großer Bedeutung sein.
