Diesmal entführt Shibiretta Pretty Cure in den Mondpalast aus der alten japanischen Erzählung der Mondprinzessin Kaguya-hime (aus Taketori Monogatari, „Die Geschichte vom Bambussammler“). Den Palast entfernt sie sogleich wieder, so dass die fünf Mädchen auf der nackten Mondoberfläche stehen ohne jegliche Deckung, wo sie ihnen jetzt einen aus umherfliegenden Gesteinsbrocken zusammengesetzten Hoshiina entgegen stellt, der selbst wie ein kleiner Mond aussieht.
