Liebe auf den ersten Blick, so beschreibt man Sakuras Treffen mit Mamoru wohl am besten. Die simple Geste, sie mit einer Ausrede vor zwei unhöflichen Kerlen zu bewahren, hat ihn prompt zum Traummann werden lassen. Wenn Sakura ihr Katana, oder ein paar Bodyguards dabei gehabt hätte, wäre das nämlich nicht passiert. Sie ist die Tochter des Anführers der Sumiyoi-Gang, die die nördliche Hälfte der Stadt kontrolliert. Zu ihrem Pech scheinen viele Leute sie genau deswegen zu meiden, jedoch nicht Mamoru, für den sie nur ein normales Mädchen ist. Eigentlich wären beide ja ein schönes Paar, wenn da nicht auch noch Ageha Kurosaki, Sakuras größte Rivalin, an ihm interessiert wäre. Sie wird ihn auf keinen Fall einfach so ihr überlassen.
