Das Kind eines anderes Mannes als das eigene zu akzeptieren, ist keine einfache Aufgabe. Vor allem dann nicht, wenn die eigene Frau die Flucht ergreift, nachdem das Kind zur Welt kommt. Zwar bemühte er sich, Sentarou als sein eigenes Kind zu akzeptieren, doch als der Druck einfach zu schwer für ihn wurde, gab er sich dem Alkohol hin. Schmerzhafte Erinnerungen hat Sentarou daher an den Mann, der sich aber inzwischen sichtlich gebessert hat. Nie hat er seine Kinder vergessen und auch Sentarou hat er als seinen Sohn nun wirklich akzeptiert.
